- Use Audible's homepage on the web. Audible says eligible members see a Buy now option on the homepage. If it is absent, recheck the eligibility conditions rather than entering payment details through an unrelated route.
- Check the app's live membership or title screen. Audible's current iOS and Android guidance describes extra-credit options in membership details; its troubleshooting article also describes the option appearing from an eligible title page. Where offered, the app may show 1-, 3-, or 5-credit choices.
- Review the final price and billing channel. Audible says pricing depends on the active membership. It also says iOS purchases are charged through the App Store and Android purchases through Google Play, so confirm the displayed price and store terms before you approve anything.

Audible's purchase guidance shows that many title pages let eligible members choose either Buy with 1 creditor a cash price. Check the available bundle, its price, and your individual credit expiry dates. A credit can be used for a title marked with Audible's 1-credit badge, regardless of that title's listed cash price or runtime.
A cash purchase may fit when
The exact title price is clearer than adding a new balance
Anyone with an Amazon account can buy many Audible titles à la carte with a credit card or eligible coupon. This route avoids acquiring a credit you may not use before its applicable deadline, but the exact purchase options and price are title- and marketplace-specific.
Credits are also distinct from currently included Plus Catalog access: an included title does not require a credit while it remains included for an eligible member. Before paying, confirm the exact edition's live label, narrator, language, and purchase choices.
When the option is missing
Treat a missing offer as a check list, not a reason to force a purchase.
Audible's Help pages name several different gates: a plan that includes credits, at least 30 days on the same plan, a low enough balance, no outstanding payments, and an active rather than paused membership. Trial members and Audible Plus members have their own restrictions. Billing through Apple or Google can also change the purchase path and who processes the payment.
