How to change your Audible country or marketplace

2. Check your local payment details before starting. Audible says a completed change needs a billing address and payment method issued in the selected country. Browsing is possible without them, but membership enrollment and a completed switch are not.
3. On desktop, select the country and currency indicator. Choose Change marketplace, select the country, and choose Update. On mobile web, use the main menu, then the country and currency indicator, choose the country, and update.
4. In the Audible app, open Profile and Settings. Select Marketplace, choose the country, and confirm. If the app is only showing the wrong Library, use the sign-out and marketplace-selection steps in Audible's missing-title guidance instead.
5. Review the confirmation and the next billing date. Keep a record of your current credits, any coupon balance, pending pre-orders, and the payment method before you accept the change. The live account screen is more reliable than a past price or a screenshot.

App-store billing

A membership billed through Apple or Google needs an extra check.

Audible says that if an App Store or Google Play Store manages your membership, you need to cancel the current subscription and subscribe again in the new country. Its Apple and Google help pages also direct subscribers to manage plans through the relevant store. Check the end date and subscription screen before cancelling so you do not mistake deleting the Audible app or signing out for a billing change.

Run a short Library and account check.

1. Open Account details. Confirm the country, currency, plan name, next renewal date, and payment method shown after the update.
2. Open Credit Summary. Confirm the number and expiry dates of unused credits. Do not assume a coupon balance moved with them.
3. Test one purchased title that matters. A visible title can still be subject to a location-based playback restriction, so verify before a flight, commute, or long trip.

Can I change Audible marketplace while I have a membership?

Yes. Audible says your active plan remains until the next renewal date, then changes to the equivalent plan available in the selected country at local pricing. Confirm the specific plan in the change flow.

Do Audible credits transfer when I change country?

Audible says unused credits remain available after a marketplace change and can be used before they expire. Coupon balances do not transfer across marketplaces.

Why are my Audible books missing after I changed country?
